Mobile Brake Repair: what to expect from a mobile visit.
A high-pitched squeal usually means the pads are reaching their wear limit — that sound often comes from a built-in wear indicator and is meant to get your attention early. Grinding is a later-stage warning and can mean the pad material is gone and metal is contacting the rotor directly, which does more damage the longer it continues.
Pads wear faster than rotors and are replaced more often. Rotors are resurfaced or replaced when they are warped, scored, or worn thin — a vibration through the pedal or steering wheel when braking is a common sign. Pads and rotors are often serviced together, but not always.
We inspect the full brake system — pads, rotors, and hardware — and tell you exactly what is worn before quoting a price, instead of assuming a full brake job is needed.
